Hang Sheetrock  – Basic labor to hang sheetrock with favorable site conditions. Layout, fabricate and fit drywall sheets. With up to 1 cutout per 100 SF. Secure to framing per manufacturer specifications. Includes planning, equipment and material acquisition, area preparation and protection, setup and cleanup.

Hang Sheetrock :

Gather the tools needed for hanging a sheetrock: a utility knife and spare blades, a hammer, a straight edge for cutting and measuring, as well as many special drywall nails or screws. Ensure that the surface is under favorable site conditions. Remove any old sheetrocks as well as any obstructions that may be present such as nails and screws. Layout, fabricate and fit drywall sheets with up to 1 cutout per 100 SF. Secure to framing considering the manufacturer specifications. It usually includes planning, equipment and material acquisition, area preparation and protection, setup and cleanup.

Replace Sheetrock :

Prepare the working area and make sure that it is under favorable site conditions. Lay down a drop cloth on the floor where you will remove a sheetrock. Also, cover any furniture present in the area or remove them. Remove the existing sheetrock surface. Make sure that the new sheetrock sheets have a similar size to the original. Install the new sheetrock in the same way it was attached to the ceiling before. Apply joint compound in every seam. Let it dry then apply 2 more coats, but let it dry first before each coat. Lightly sand the surface. Once dry, coat it with a primer.  This includes planning, equipment and material acquisition, area preparation and protection, setup and cleanup.

Texture Sheetrock – Basic labor to texture sheetrock with favorable site conditions. Lightly sand drywall. Mix texturing compound. Shoot compound onto drywall. Knockdown / roll / finish texture. Includes planning, equipment and material acquisition, area preparation and protection, setup and cleanup.

Texture Sheetrock :

Start the job by making sure that the surface is under favorable site conditions. Lightly sand the sheetrock. Mix texturing compound considering the manufacturer specifications. Shoot compound onto drywall. Knockdown the textured surface and wait for it to dry completely. This includes planning, equipment and material acquisition, area preparation and protection, setup and cleanup.
